What the artist was thinking when she painted this one.
The background represents all the souls who are headed to Heaven's Gate.
The clouds of pink, blue, yellow and white hides the view of Heaven.
The gate is done in metallic gold paint as are the stone walkway and steps leading to the gate. Carol was given this image just a few nights before she was to have surgery. She ignored it at first but the image got more and more vivid so she thought God wanted her to paint it. She had the title even before she painted it. All she could think of was, "God works in mysterious ways".
