"Prickly Pear Cactus - Eye Candy" - April 2010
I'm still working on this one. It's 30 x 30 inches in size and very colorful. This has been so much fun to paint. Although prickly pear cactus is really only green with some pinks in it... and the flowers may vary in color I had to use my artist purogative to paint this one. I think of a PARTY in the desert... like balloons. I hope you smile! I'll try to get a better picture of it up as soon as I can.

The flowers are painted in watercolors and gouaches and the background is done in black acrylic on 140 Lb. watercolor paper. Image size is approximately 10.75 x 7.75 with a white border all sides. Price : $775.00

COMMISSIONS
I just finished working on two commissions for the Franciscan Renewal Center. I made them similar but not the same. They are both 16 x 20 in size on gallery wrapped canvases and are framed the same. I delivered them August 1st. FRC = Franciscan Renewal Center.
