Eligibility: Open to all artists over the age of 18.
Accepted Media: All original paintings created after January 1, 2008, acrylics, oils, watercolors, mixed media, 2-D. No 3-D, audio, video, slideshows, or moving film, or photography or any digitally altered will be accepted. No erotic artwork will be accepted.
Awards: 1st Place-$200, 2nd Place-$100, 3rd Place-$50. All cash awards are final as selected by the juror(s)/juror committee. The winners and finalists will be announced on October 1, 2010.
Regulations:
Entry deadline is September 24, 2010.
All artwork must be the original work, conception and design of the submitting artist and created after January 1, 2008.
Artists retain ALL rights to their artwork.
Canyon Art Studios (CAS) reserves the right to refuse any artwork that is considered offensive, improperly presented, inappropriate, and an unacceptable entry.
The winners and finalists agree to grant permission to Canyon Art Studios to display their artwork and their contact information on www.csabo.com/Canyon_Art_Studios (CAS) for one year. After 60 days, the artist may contact CAS to remove their artwork and contact information if they desire.
Only the top ten finalists will have their work and contact information featured on our website.
We take no commission. Buyers interested in your art will contact you directly and all purchases will go through you and be your responsibility.
When evaluating works, juror(s)/juror committee will consider originality, execution of technique, and use of color, form and texture.
An entry into this show constitutes full agreement by the artist to accept all conditions stated in this prospectus.
Submission Guidelines:
1 to 4 images of 2-D artwork may be submitted; 1 image for $20. 2 images for $25. 3 images for $30. 4 images for $35.
Entry Fees are non-refundable.
Send high resolution files that don't exceed 1.5 MB individually or as a compressed ZIP file, a .jpg or .jpeg type file only as an attachment to entries@csabo.com. Label your digital images with your name and title (ie: BobSmithReflections). In the body of the email, include your name, titles of work, medium, frame dimensions, price, your mailing address (will not be displayed on the website), email, and any and all contact information-including your website- that you wish to have displayed on Canyon Art Studios, if you are chosen in the top ten.
Submitted artwork is not required to be for sale.
