ACRYLICS ON CANVAS
I love to work in miniature but in my attempt to work larger, I have created some floral paintings that are 24 X 24 inches. I've used acrylics on and off in the past and from time to time I find myself going back to them to break the watercolor habit!
These paintings are in bright vivid colors on stretched canvas and one is on canvas board. They are ready for framing in whatever you decided on. A few are framed. The depth of the stretcher bar is 1/2 inch to 1 inch deep.
NOTE: All of my original paintings come with a Certificate of Authenticity, and Artist Bio and Statement.

"Bird of Paradise" - 3 x 2 ft. - Acrylic - Price: $2,800.00
This painting is in acrylic on a gallery wrapped canvas, ready to hang or it can be framed. Created in 2009. I originally did this flower in watercolors on a 5 x 7 inch format. I liked it so much that I had to do it large. The first time I did it in acrylics, it was on a 2 ft. sq. canvas... it sold (see my Recently Sold page) that was back in 2005. Now I wanted to do it again... as a 3 x 2 footer. I love how this came out.

These tulips are painted in Acrylic on a checkerboard background of gold, which goes around the sides on these gallery wrapped canvases. The flowers (red and yellow) have thicker edges on the petals to give them a 3-D appearance. They can be hung side by side or spaced apart or staggered as long as the checkerboard background lines up. Price: $ 1,250.00

As you can see, this peony has my 3-D edges on the flower petals. The canvas is 1/2 inch deep so it can be framed. The flower petals are of soft pinks, yellows, yellow orange and graduate in color. This painting was created in 2009.

This is a 14 X 18 acrylic on canvas and framed with a linen liner and gold wood frame, with dust cover and ready to hang in that special location in your home. The edges of the larger rose is raised and the baby's breath is raised as well.

Magnolia trees are amongst the first to bloom in the spring and I love taking clippings and making arrangements as center pieces for my dinning room table. This is an acrylic on a gallery wrapped canvas. The flower petals have raised edges.

"Poinsettia"
This is my favorite flower to paint. I've always done miniatures of them in watercolors and I just had to paint a GIANT one this year. Acrylic on a gallery wrapped canvas... painted on all sides, so it can be hung from any side. The flower is bright red and fuchsia with bright lime green and orange stamens, all on a black background. This canvas is 24 x 24 inches square.

The flower is bright red with bright lime green and orange stamens, all on a black background. Every petal edge and leaf edge is heavy with paint giving it a 3-d effect. The line down the center of the read petals is in gold. This canvas is 24 x 36 inches . Start thinking Christmas with this painting as your focus for the holiday season. This painting won the "Art of Distinction Award" during the Christmas show with the SunDust Gallery in Mesa, Arizona.
