ACRYLICS ON CANVAS
I love to work in miniature but in my attempt to work larger, I have created some floral paintings that are 24 X 24 inches. I've used acrylics on and off in the past and from time to time I find myself going back to them to break the watercolor habit!
These paintings are in bright vivid colors on stretched canvas and one is on canvas board. They are ready for framing in whatever you decided on. A few are framed. The depth of the stretcher bar is 1/2 inch to 1 inch deep.
NOTE: All of my original paintings come with a Certificate of Authenticity, and Artist Bio and Statement.

This painting is in acrylic on a gallery wrapped canvas, ready to hang or it can be framed. Created in 2009. I originally did this flower in watercolors on a 5 x 7 inch format. I liked it so much that I had to do it large. The first time I did it in acrylics, it was on a 2 ft. sq. canvas... it sold (see my Recently Sold page) that was back in 2005. Now I wanted to do it again... as a 3 x 2 footer. I love how this came out.
SPRING BEAUTIES - 8" X 24" EACH PANEL - TWO PIECE SET - 2009
These tulips are painted in Acrylic on a checkerboard background of gold, which goes around the sides on these gallery wrapped canvases. The flowers (red and yellow) have thicker edges on the petals to give them a 3-D appearance. They can be hung side by side or spaced apart or staggered as long as the checkerboard background lines up. Price: $ 1,250.00

Acrylic on canvas board, framed in a white frame. Background is done with red and black mixed and blended like parchment on the canvas. I'm sorry the picture is not better.

As you can see, this peony has my 3-D edges on the flower petals. The canvas is 1/2 inch deep so it can be framed. The flower petals are of soft pinks, yellows, yellow orange and graduate in color. This painting was created in 2009.

Acrylic on a gallery wrapped canvas... painted on all sides, so it can be hung from any side. Use it as a vertical or horizontal. The flower is bright red with bright lime green and orange stamens, all on a black background. Every petal edge and leaf edge is heavy with paint giving it a 3-d effect. The line down the center of the read petals is in gold. This canvas is 24 x 36 inches . Start thinking Christmas with this painting as your focus for the holiday season. This painting won the "Art of Distinction Award" during the Christmas show with the SunDust Gallery in Mesa, Arizona.

"Orange Tiger Lilies"
This vertical is 3 x 2 ft. on a gallery wrapped canvas with a soft creamy yellow background... and is very striking with the flowers bright orange and pink. The flower petals have raised edges as well a the dark part of the leaves. This picture does NOT do it justice.
