These paintings are in bright vivid colors on stretched canvas. They are ready for framing in whatever you decided on. The depth of the stretcher bar is 1/2 inch to 1 inch deep. Most are on a gallery wrapped canvas so you don't have to frame them since they are painted on all sides.

"Bird Of Paradise Three" - 12 x 12 - $165.00

This is the third or forth time I have painted the Bird Of Paradise. Such an exotic flower. The colors are bright and brilliant in this painting.

  I hope to get  a better photo of it up since this one shows the sunlight hitting the canvas. Sorry!

"Night Bloomer" - 8 x 8 - $95.00

Another version of my night blooming cactus flower. This is a small painting but it still packs a good punch in the detail department. All the petals of the flower have my 3-D edges (a thick edge of paint) and the center is in thicker paint too. Black background.  Please note that the white edge is NOT ON THE PAINTING. It is just there so you can see the image better since it sits on a black background on this site.

I just finish this pair of beauties! Both are 8 x 8 inches square on gallery wrapped canvases. The Daisies have thick paint in the center of the flowers and make for an eye catching painting. Each of these paintings are done in acrylic on a twelve inch gallery wrapped canvas, painted all sides. The centers of the dahlias have heavy texture so it plays with the light. I just finished this painting and I feel it captures my inner spirit. I'm a happy lady and I love to celebrate life! When I look at this I feel like it's a party in the desert. The cactus looks like balloons or like jelly beans. Bright and cheerful with it's array of colors jumping off the canvas. I hope it makes you smile! It's 30 inches square on a gallery wrapped canvas. I finally finished this painting. I turned out great. The petals of the flowers have a thick edge of paint defining them and giving them a 3-D look so they play with the light and shadows. As soon as I have this archived I will be offering it in two sizes as a Limited Edition GiClee.

NIGHT BLOOMING CACTI-9 x 12 - $175.00

This is a small painting on a 9 x 12 canvas board. Again all the petals of the blossoms have a heavy ridge of paint to give them a three dimensional effect. I liked this so much I painted a very large version of this painting on a 36 inch square canvas.

This was a study for the purpose of doing a very large painting in this style. The upper background is textured heavily with molding paste then I painted over it. The lower 1/3 of the painting is also textured but not as heavy. I want to paint a large painting based on this one but the size will be 48 x 36.  This is an acrylic on a gallery wrapped canvas ready to hand.

"Festive Winter Poppies" - 24 x 18 - $975.00

An acrylic on a gallery wrapped canvas painted all 4 sides. Canvas is 1/2 inch deep so it can be framed. The flowers were done with a knife giving them deep ridges for a more dimensional look. The white branches also done with a knife have gold dots for a festive look. This painting is sitting against a stucco wall, that is what you see around the painting.
