"Pretty In Pink-Rose Bud" - 24 x 18 - $850.00

I think this painting looks even better in person. I was sent a photo by Larz who is a GREAT Photographer and I told him if I painted it I would give him a link on my site. So, to the left is his photo of the rose and his link. To the right is my painting.

Tiger Lily Times Two - 20 x 16 - $750.00

It can be hung as a horizontal or a vertical as shown. I rarely use photos as a reference to do a painting but I also worked from a black and white photo to paint these tiger lilies. The photo was giving to me by a friend. It's on the left.. my painting is on the right.

I Am So GLADiolas - 24 x 18 - $ 950.00

The stamen is done with texture and in two shades of purple. Size: 18 x 24 x 1/2 inch. This painting took 6th Place in the "Express Yourself" art competition with the Dott Art Gallery in VA. for September 2010.  

EASTER LILY CACTUS FLOWER - 16 x 20 - $795.00

This painting was created just for the competition "Blossoms II" at the Naples Museum of Art which is coming up in February 2011.  It is done in acrylic with a black background. Size: 16 x 20 inches. Winners will be announced on Nov. 2nd.

This painting just won FIRST PLACE  with the Leading Artists Gallery, and I have two Honorable Mentions as well. Exhibition open today, Nov. 11, 2011.

Midnight Bloom - 24 x 18 - $1,100.00

This painting was created just for the competition "Blossoms II" at the Naples Museum of Art which is coming up in February 2011.  The center of the flower has LOTS texture. It is done in acrylic with a black background. Winners will be announced Nov. 2nd.

This painting captures my inner spirit. I'm a happy lady and I love to celebrate life! When I look at this I feel like it's a party in the desert. The cactus looks like balloons or like jelly beans. Bright and cheerful with it's array of colors jumping off the canvas. I hope it makes you smile! I

All the flowers are done with texture. Created Aug. 2010. This painting is similar to the "Prickly Pear Cactus-Eye Candy" so, if you like that one, you will like this.  Price: $165

Stripes-Dahlia I and II - 12 x 12 - SOLD!

Each of these paintings are done in acrylic on a twelve inch gallery wrapped canvas, painted all sides. The centers of the dahlias have heavy texture so it plays with the light. The stripes are the same color on both paintings. They can be sold separately or as a pair. Price Each is $165.00 but you can save $30 if you buy them as a Pair for $300. Hang them together or in different areas.

I just finish this pair of beauties! Both are 8 x 8 inches square on gallery wrapped canvases. The Daisies have thick paint in the center of the flowers and make for an eye catching painting. On the other hand the Yellow Orchids are pretty without texture. You can buy them individually or as a pair.

"Daisy Duchess" - 12 x 12 - $145.00

Painted all sides, can be hung without a frame. The center of this white daisy is done with very heavy texture. Created Aug. 2010.

Bird Of Paradise Three - 12 x 12 - $145.00

This is the third or forth time I have painted the Bird Of Paradise. Such an exotic flower. The colors are bright and brilliant in this painting.

  I hope to get  a better photo of it up since this one shows the sunlight hitting the canvas. Sorry!

Night Bloomer - 8 x 8 - $95.00

Another version of my night blooming cactus flower. This is a small painting but it still packs a good punch in the detail department. All the petals of the flower have my 3-D edges (a thick edge of paint) and the center is in thicker paint too. Black background.  Please note that the white edge is NOT ON THE PAINTING. It is just there so you can see the image better since it sits on a black background on this site.
