Please note that 99% of my canvas paintings are done on "gallery wrapped canvases" and are painted on all sides so they can be hung without a frame. I will tell you when they are NOT.  All my originals come  with a Certificate of Authenticity and Artist Bio/Statement

Night Blooming Cactus - 12 x 9 - $95.00

This is a small painting on a 9 x 12 canvas board. They were blooming in my neighbor's yard. So at midnight I went out and took pictures of it. I did this small painting as a study to do a very large painting later. All the petals of the blossoms have a heavy ridge of paint to give them a three dimensional effect. My large version of this painting is on a 36 inch square canvas. (see below) This is framed in a black matt finished metal frame. Frame included in the price.

Night Blooming Cactus - 36 x 36 - $2,900.00

I finally finished this painting. I turned out great. The petals of the flowers have a thick edge of paint defining them and giving them a 3-D look so they play with the light and shadows. As soon as I have this archived I will be offering it in two sizes as a Limited Edition GiClee.

Spring Magnolias - 36 x 24 - $2,450.00

I so enjoyed painting this piece. I wanted the background to look like it was watercolor. Actually the whole painting is done in acrylic. The petals have a delicate edge of paint that sets them off. There are not many times in an artist's life that he/she feels that they have come very close to perfection with a painting. This one is "one" of those paintings. It is calming and pleasant to look at.

Completed in 2009.  Framed in an antiqued gold and off white frame. The petals of the flower have my 3-D edges giving it more dimension and depth to this painting. If you are interested contact me I do have a photo showing the frame.

"Red Fusia" - 9 x 12 - Framed Price: $95.00

 Acrylic on canvas board, framed in a white frame. Background is done with red and black mixed and blended like parchment on the canvas. I'm sorry the picture is not better.

PRETTY PEONY -  30 IN. SQ. -$850.00

As you can see, this peony has my 3-D edges on the flower petals. The canvas is 1/2 inch deep so it can be framed. The flower petals are of soft pinks, yellows, yellow orange and graduate in color.

Potted Orchids - 16 x 20 - Framed Price: $390.00

Framed in an antique copper looking frame and ready to hang. I only did my 3-D edges on the ribbon and the fleur de le on the clay pot.

Last Call - 20 x 16 - $495.00

Completed in 2009.  Acrylic on a gallery wrapped canvas, all the petals of the flowers have my 3-D edges.

Adobe Twins - Two Piece Set - 8 x 10 Each - $185.00

A two piece set, each side is 8 x 10 inches. Overall Size: 16 x 10. Hang then as shown or stagger them.

Ha-Hacienda - 10 x 30 - $350

This is a whimsical little painting. The colors are cheerful and very much southwestern. Painted all sides.

Home Sweet Cactus - 36 x 18 - $1,800.00

This painting was chosen as a top ten finalist in the Grand Opening Exhibition at the Dott Art Gallery. (Click on the name of the gallery to go to their site and view the whole show.) The little sign above the hole says Home Sweet Cactus. The Grass is done with a knife and is very heavy in texture. All the thorns were done with a knife also.

Brazilian Orchids - 12 x 9 - Framed Price $450.00 - SOLD

All the petals on these little orchids had my 3-D edges. It was framed in a black frame since the background was black.

Bird of Paradise - 3 x 2  - $1,850.00

This painting is in acrylic on a gallery wrapped canvas, ready to hang or it can be framed. Created in 2009. I originally did this flower in watercolors on a 5 x 7 inch format. I liked it so much that I had to do it large. The first time I did it in acrylics, it was on a 2 ft. sq. canvas... it sold (see my Recently Sold page) that was back in 2005. Now I wanted to do it again... as a 3 x 2 footer. I love how this came out.

ELECTRIC RED POPPIES - SIZE 30 X 30 - $1,150.00

This piece was also painted on site of the Celebration of Fine Art Show in Scottsdale. The petals have my 3-D edges. the flourishes on the two outer panels are done in a metallic gold.

RED HOT MUMS - 30 X 30 - $ 1,100.00

Each petal is edged with heavier paint to create this 3-D effect. Painted on site of the Celebration of Fine Art show in Scottsdale, Arizona.

It Takes Two (Daisy) - 8 x 20 - $650.00

This painting can be hung as a horizontal or a vertical. Painted on all sides so it's ready to hang. All the petals (and the centers) to the daisies even the small buds have my 3-D edges. The background was done with 3 shade of purple, mixed right on the canvas.

SPRING BEAUTIES - 8" X 24" EACH PANEL - TWO PIECE SET - $650.00

These tulips are painted in Acrylic on a checkerboard background of gold, which goes around the sides on these gallery wrapped canvases. The flowers (red and yellow) have thicker edges on the petals to give them a 3-D appearance. They can be hung side by side or spaced apart or staggered as long as the checkerboard background lines up.  Price: $ 1,250.00

Pecking Order II  - Size:11 x 14 - Framed Price: $285.00

Framed in a beautiful light cherry frame, ready to hang. The original painting was similar to this but was done in watercolors on a very small size. It was just two inches square, then matted and framed. It was sold.
